Thinking of coming to Ireland in 2021?

Hoping to experience Ireland’s famous scenery? Well if you are, Killarney town located in South West Ireland is the place to access many of Ireland’s best known attractions.

Killarney is situated in Co. Kerry. Located in a valley and surrounded by enchanting lakes and mountains, the town is within 20 miles of Ireland’s Wild Atlantic Way, a now infamous and stunningly beautiful coastal route in Europe. Killarney Town has a wider population of approx 25,000 people. However, its visitor infrastructure is superb. The town itself can accommodate 13,500 visitors wishing to stay overnight. It offers a wide range of accommodation from top class 5 Star Luxury Hotels to budget hostels. It has a wide range of terrific restaurants or cafes for the lighter eater. Its has excellent night entertainment for all ages. Its a lovely friendly town to spend a while in.

Killarney Valley – the immediate scenery around Killarney is awesome. The Killarney Valley incorporates Killarney National Park (25,000 acres) and The Gap of Dunloe. Within easy range of the town are the Lakes of Killarney, Ross Castle (pictured above) and Killarney House.

Ring of Kerry – A 120 mile route incorporating wonderful coastal scenery and the very best of Killarney National Park. The Ring is probably Irelands most famous scenic driving route, and it can be extended further to incorporate the Skellig Ring, a wonderful scenic area dominated by The Skellig Islands.

Ross Castle

Dingle – a beautiful coastal peninsula made famous from many blockbuster films, Dingle and its hinterland is a delightful area, with coastal views to die for.

Cliffs of Moher – further north in County Clare, The Cliffs of Moher is Ireland’s most visited attraction bringing crowds of approx 1.5 million each year. Again, more stunning coastal scenery and a photographers dream.

Blarney and Kinsale – heading south this time to the infamous Blarney Castle and Gardens, where you can kiss the Blarney Stone. On this tour you can also take in the charming coastal town of Kinsale.

West Cork – within easy reach and includes the attractive towns of Glengariff, Kenmare and The Beara Peninsula.
